Lenten Reflection: We complain about our difficulties and sufferings in school, money, relationships and the likes. But come to think of it, what more do our less fortunate countrymen are facing. What more did Jesus had to face when He was about to be crucified.

American Vocabulary / Terms

I’ve noticed that there are terms we used in the Philippines that’s not commonly known / used here in America.
I’m not sure if this just applies here in California.

Philippine commonly used term		American term
comfort room / CR		restroom
softdrinks		soda
dine in		for here
take-out		to go

This means that if you try to use the non-American terms then most of the people won’t be able to understand you, not unless of course if they’re Filipinos as well.

I’ll try to update these if I’ll be finding out more terms that’s not used / recognized in America.
